三、主讲人简介

Helmut Gruber is Professor for Applied Linguistics and Discourse Studies at Vienna University. His research interests focus on (social) media and political communication (esp. political speeches), genre studies, conflict communication, and computer-mediated-communication under a socio-pragmatic perspective as well as research on coherence structures in (students’) academic writing. He has widely published on all these (and some more) topics. He is editor-in-chief ofthe journal Pragmatics.
